Post from a different device & IP address. A phone would work. If your "housemate" doesn't want to post from a phone, just connect your iPad or computer to the internet via a mobile hotspot and that should give you a new IP address. Be sure to use a different device, though.

Well, IMHO, it is a good question. I have sons that probably will not, but may post from this computer in the future. Would they be considered alters if they did?
