It just happened to me for the first time in a while. It was the Amazon gift card pop up.
I am on an Ipad, Safari browser using Ios 11.4.1.
If it helps I just updated to ios 11.4.1 this evening and got the pop up as soon as I signed onto Tigerdroppings for the first time after the update.

ETA: Disregard the information below. As soon as I returned to the Poli Board after posting the information below I got the Amazon gift card popup.
I did something that seems to have helped.
On my iPad I went to Settings.....Safari......Advanced........Website Data.....then at the bottom of the page that opens I scrolled to the bottom where it says in red print “Remove All Website Data.”
I tapped that red print message.
WARNING: Don’t do this unless you know your passwords for every website that requires a password, like Tigerdroppings for example. It will reset every website you use so that you have to re-enter your sign-in name and password for every website.
Since I did that I have not gotten the Amazon popup again whereas I was getting the popup on every site I was going to since I first got it again this evening on Tigerdroppings.
Before doing that I also cleared all cookies and did the “swipe up” routine to delete all active open tabs.
So far, so good.... :fingerscrossed:

Once I clear my cookies and browsing history again and as long as I don’t go to Yahoo again, no popups on any other website.
Also, if I turn off java script I don’t get the Amazon popup on any site...not even Yahoo. As soon as I activate java script and go to Yahoo the popup starts again.
ETA; The above is true if I switch to Firefox for iPad browser and Chrome for iPad browser.
There has to be a malware virus on Yahoo that is associated with java script being activated.
