I have a financial planning website that is finally going live later in August here, that will focus on budgeting/retirement/taxes/kids college/properties/businesses, etc. It is going to be a free public beta launch (as I'm learning that maximizing user growth on the front end is everything as far as building momentum and getting the best feedback to improve through iterations), to begin with at least until some period of time has elapsed or some number of users is reached.

Given that everyone signing up here would be getting a free beta user subscription, would it be OK for me to "plug" the website when we launch it? I'd love to have the MT board be a huge chunk of the beta users. Admins, please advise me on what the proper procedure here would be. Thanks!

You can only promote Gofundme's that benefit scamming meth heads on this site. A free website you are trying to get feedback on is out of bounds.

Rules are clear here baw.

Yeah I don’t understand the downvotes I got here. I’m clearly trying to follow the rules and all people can do is downvote, smh.

I just downvoted here because you’re worried about downvotes.

There is a rule against promoting goods and services. But they might make an exception in this case given the reasons that you’ve laid out. Id email Chicken directly to ask.

Good luck.
