Dear Chicken, can we have a golf board?

I think Weave's 'week in' golf thread proves that we would be some of the most stellar posters on the site.
Some of these threads go over 1,000 posts in days. Instead of having to sift through dozens of pages to find topics of interest, we could have it set up like any other board.
Also, I think a lot of posters get frustrated with the popularity "Week In" threads have with the Baton Rouge area. I know there has to be dozens of guys from Texas, MS, Bama, and Florida that would like to converse about courses in their respective areas.
It would also generate more opportunities for ads, thusly, increasing revenue for the site.
I know you're a busy man, but if you could find some time to consider the matter, we would greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
TD Golf Board Members, 2013

Support. Tons of different topics could be discussed. Equipment, instruction, course reviews and so on. I think it would really take off. Please consider, it would be greatly appreciated.

It proves yall are not a fan of Alexander Graham Bell's fabulous invention. But nonetheless I'm all for a golf board

Think of all the cool threads you could start with Zach!

I've got nothing against a golf board but do you think it's more in demand than a health/fitness or science/tech board?
I know it is to you but it seems like a golf board would be down on the pecking order.
Again, I've got nothing against a golf board.

I don't think Zach has ever broke 100. Yet week end and week out he goes out there and hacks it up. Won't foot wedge, take a club length, take a mulligan or nothing. He plods through 18, fires 118 or some shite, and has a good time. Got to admire his fortitude. Me, I would take up basket weaving.

agreed. here's the priority list:
1. Baseball Board
2. Science/Tech
3. Health/Fitness
4. Golf Board
5. I don't have anymore, but I hate lists that aren't multiples of 5

I'm sure there are people all over the country who are LSU grads that read the site. The one well regulated "Week in" thread is mostly about Baton Rouge metro area golf courses, or courses within a few hours of there (Gulf Coast, FL, etc.)

It'd be cool, you could even only open it when it's primetime golf season if you wanted

Great Idea
Just think how many What (insert club) do you use?, What is in your golf bag?, What/Who are you playing today? threads.
