I have been on there reading information about the storm from the more knowledgeable posters and have not posted anything. Now suddenly I am kicked out. I get the stop sign when i try to read the most recent posts. Thanks

Once a hurricane gets close to the US, they really need a thread with limited posting access that people can go to for real information. Too many treat these threads as a typical OT free for all where they think they can act like idiots or post whatever they feel like.
I would bet a lot of people use these threads as valuable info gathering and like you noted, some of the valuable posters are staying out of the shite show.

I won't lie. I've followed that thread for a week now. Really good info in it.
But as the path keeps changing, the experts ego/Shaft have gotten so hard they flat out suck.
It's really amazing to see their reaction when questioned.
The cleanup might need more than the OP suggests.
