quote:Your "nonsense" is nothing of the sort. Perhaps one might post it to get other posters' attention so that they could quietly reflect on what they had posted. Sometimes it's important to call a spade a spade, or a bigot a bigot. Perhaps one might wonder how a racially charged thread got racially charged. Perhaps one might wonder if the racially charged thread wasn't merely a forum for bigots that needed to be challenged.
Whether or not the word is racist, when you go into racially charged threads and say stuff like:
Cracker, cracker, cracker
Look at all these crackers
Come get your crackers
That is in fact flaming. Why else would you post such nonsense in a thread that has nothing to do with snacks?
Perhaps one who takes the nom de plume of Archie Bunker can be questioned on his bias in a discussion of racism and bigotry.
quote:That you can make so many misstatements in one sentence is impressive. You might have set a new record. Your use of words like "nonsense" and "idiotic" did not bolster your argument. To the contrary, they detracted from any sense you tried to make.
But the posters nonsensical explanation of "its not a racist term" for flaming racial threads is beyond idiotic.
Indeed, in your entire bloated post, you never discussed the etymology or definition of cracker. You never described how or why it is a racist term.
You merely begged the question
I'm sure when you die, there won't be any comets.

It looks like you read the post... because you quoted it... but did you?
The poster's intent of using the word was to flame threads with racial topics. It has nothing to do with what the word means or its etymology, as the poster's intent is to flame.
And all your pompous and excessive post did was prove my point. Your intent was to flame.
quote:

AKA, flame.
So go ahead, and make another lengthy post dissecting mine with all of your wit, but know this... you sir, are a flamer.
Goodnight now. And flame on.

Lastly, as far as my misstatements. I used the term "nonsensical" to describe your explanation, as your explanation has zero to do with your actions... and is therefore nonsense. However, I did not once use the word "nonsense".
quote:
Adj. 1.nonsensical - incongruous;inviting ridicule; "the absurd excuse that the dog ate his homework";
quote:
n. 1. nonsense - Words or signs having no intelligible meaning
One would think a poster of such high intellect would easily discern the difference between the two.
Whether or not the poster is in fact racist or homo, is irrelevant. Fact is, the poster is a fa-lame minion.
ETA: So go ahead, and make another lengthy post dissecting this one with all of your wit, but know this... in the end, you sir are a flamer.
Again, goodnight now. And flame on.

I don't usually debate morons with a high level of analysis. It's a waste of time because they are morons.
However, I'm willing to make an exception for you because you go to such lengths to be a moron.
If I say, "you're a moron," does "moron" become a racist term? How about if I call you a moron in a "racially charged" thread?
This thread is racially charged. Let me give it a try. "You're a moron." Wow, I had no idea it was so easy to turn a word into a racist term.
Behold my awesome power! You're a "dipshit," an "asshat," and a "frickwad." The racist terms multiply before me. BWAAHAHAHAHA.
In your world, a bigot does not have to worry about being called a bigot . . . errr moron . . . errr dipshit . . . I seem to have lost track of which words are racist, and I fear that whatever other derogatory words I might call you will also become racist terms also, because, after all, I am sure it appears that I am flaming you in a "racially charged" thread.
Nonsensical is merely the adjective form of nonsense. They both can mean unintelligible, foolish, or absurd. But then I rely on a source as unreliable as Merriam-Webster:
nonsense (noun)
1 a: words or language having no meaning or conveying no intelligible ideas b (1): language, conduct, or an idea that is absurd or contrary to good sense (2): an instance of absurd action
— nonsensical - adjective
— nonsensically - adverb
And perhaps I shouldn't rather rely on a source that clearly cannot easily discern the difference between the two, like the American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language
nonsensical (adj.)
1. Lacking intelligible meaning: a nonsensical jumble of words.
2. Foolish; absurd: nonsensical ideas.
nonsense (n.)
1. Words or signs having no intelligible meaning: a message that was nonsense until decoded.
2. Subject matter, behavior, or language that is foolish or absurd.
Maybe I shouldn't try to find help from the good folks at Collins Essential English Dictionary 2nd Edition by HarperCollins Publishers:
nonsense (noun)
1. something that has or makes no sense
2. unintelligible language
3. foolish behaviour: she'll stand no nonsense
nonsensical adj
I'm sorry.
I apologize.
I can't easily discern whether your posts are nonsense or nonsensical.
But rest assured, you're a moron. :newracistflame:
