What the frick is the downvote feature even for on this site? Is it to show displeasure with a post? I mean it doesn't harm anyone if you get a ton of downvotes.
The only thing I can think is the admins when they review a questionable post of yours see 1000 up votes to 10 down then they don't suspend immediately vs a 1000 downvotes to 10 up votes.

I down vote negative LSU Tiger post all the time
I down vote any negative post about a recruit, player or former player.
We have the privilege of watching these kids perform to represent our university, most of the negative comments I assume come from fans who never competed on a athletic field.
From now on I will not turn on Tiger Droppings unless I am fully clothed and never on the potty again.
