No offense, but the OT sucks on it's own. It is like reading old MSN chat of what people are eating in thrays.

The OT ruined the OT.
Support a military/history board, but the idea of restricted boards irks me. Sooner or later it becomes an 'in crowd' thing.

I support, but keep it open access. I like seeing the civvy opinions and perspectives interspersed in the military chat.
Also, i jack the living piss out of threads with military bs all the time. while i think everyone should feel blessed by my presence in whatever form or circumstance, it does seem inappropriate.
No guilt doe.

Why does everyone keep protecting the OT? There's plenty of WYHI and IRL circlejerk threads out there to be made. The OT will be fine.

Good post, and that's the reason why Id object as well.
The OT is still a good current event source but the board separation, and the influx of a ton of new people over the years has made it worse than it used to be.
I don't post in them very often but I read the F out of the military and history threads. I'd hate to have those moved from the OT, especially if it's to a board that I cannot access.
I forget the Tech Board is there and never thought the Tech threads cluttered the OT, just like the fitness or the golf threads don't clutter it.
