Have a dehydrator? Homemade beef jerky can be great as a protein source. London broils and roast can be had for $3 a pound or less. Snacking on this spreads it out making other meals less daunting. Keep it below 130 degrees. Just don't go overboard all at once, because your stomach will hate you.

Carbs carbs carbs

Pasta
Rice

Try to not eat potatoes bc they are low calorie, but they do have great micronutrients.

I know one guy who bought almond butter or something like that and just dipped rice cakes into them.

Eat more than 3 times a day.

i was 5'11 150lb (morning naked) before I started lifting and consuming a heavy diet late spring

I'm now hovering around 165lb (morning naked) after doing a rotation of arms, legs, chest, back, sholders, abs every other day, and even cardio a couple of times a week... roughly 1 - 1.5 hours a day

I snack on beef jerky and almonds all day. The almonds are high in fat but apparently it's good fat? I don't know much about nutrition but I eat them and they really screw up my fat numbers in MyFitnessPal (using leangains for macros), but I think they're okay so I just subtract those from my fat count. Someone else here probably can explain how almond fat is fine.
