You guys that workout. I have a question.
I work out pretty regular. Do my 100 pushups a day at the least. Add 100 squats most days as well.
The problem is still there when I get my heart rate up to like 165-170 my heart almost painful beating until it comes down.
For instance just got through climbing stairs outside in the heat with my FR shite on carrying equipment. Got the the top and the damn thing is beating like a bass drum. Once on the deck working is slows down and is fine.
I do cardio once or twice a week with the elliptical, or row machine.
Does this just mean I'm not doing near enough cardio? I'm 6'4" 236lbs. Resting heart rate is 70-72.
Am I just out of shape? I've had EKGs and holter monitors in the past due to chronic disease and major surgeries. They said my heart checked out good.
Thanks for serious answers.

Sounds like your asking a fitness question about your heart.
Health and fitness board?

Your heart rate shouldn’t be getting THAT high based on your regiment.
If your heart checked out, drink more water.

Had ultrasound last year. Wouldn't that have caught it?
Stress test too.
I'll call the doctor tomorrow anyway. I see a cardiologist every year. I'm about 3 months overdo.

Your resting numbers may be good but if your arteries are clogged, putting them under stress may not be letting enough blood and oxygen through. That happened to my dad. Ended up with a quintuple bypass. He was in great shape but once the rate got up it wouldn't slow down for a while. I'd have it checked. May need a body scan.
If you can't use breathing techniques to slow it down then it needs to be checked.

I had a cal score last year along with stress test and everything was great they said. The HR come down quick.
It's just painful for a short while at high beat numbers.
Ive been belching like a freight train. Seems like gas is building like a volcano recently. Going to call tomorrow. Just feels like I never get the stamina up like i would imagine it should be.
Thought maybe doubling my cardio and less strength training would help.
Thanks
