Does anybody have a good workout app or a program that they follow? I have been working out since September and seem to have hit a plateau. Just looking for ways to stay innovative.

I generally lift 4 times a week. Push day, pull day, leg day, and then I'll hit some core and arms on the 4th day. I'm running about 2-3 miles 5 times a week.

If you could elaborate as to why you think this is a problem that would be fantastic... Don't know why you come to a message board to post gif's/memes.. I came here seeking advice

Maybe incorporate sprints into your runs, instead of a steady 2-3 miles

Right now I'm running intervals and it's been great. I'm not having trouble with my cardio. I'm more looking to add weight to my routine during lifts. Looking for solid exercises/programs that can help me.

Well if you are running that much you are going to have to learn to be a little more realistic on your weightlifting goals. As cardio volume goes up, lifting goes down. Can still make progress on both though.

Look at my greyskull program thread.

Day 1- run
Day 2- lift
Day 3- run
Day 4- lift
Day 5- run

Or go look at the 531 run forest run or Conditioning program from the powerlifting book.

I'm a big novice when it comes to lifting. Really just started in September. If you think cutting down on cardio will help get gains on the rack that's fine. I'm not really trying to cut any extra weight, so I can start substituting weights for cardio.

What is a greyskull program? What powerlifting book are you refrencing? I would love a good read.

it's clear to me that I do not have a good enough base understanding of lifting and all the different programs out there. Is there a website or a book you recommend for a novice to learn the lingo and basic techniques of lifting?
