It can be frustrating when, despite the vast amount of knowledge out there, people come around who havent exercised much discipline in their diet and exercise and say "why isnt my magic pill working"
Yep. Mingo and co have said everything that needs to be said, but yeah this post is super frustrating for people who know what we are eating, make sure to lift and run, and limit our alcohol and sugar intake.
We aren't doing this because it's fun per se. Obviously you feel way better, and lifting and running can be fun, but not being able to eat every single delicious thing you see is hard. Harder for some than others, but personally on a Saturday if I go somewhere with my wife and there's, just for example, a big danish that looks good, it's not that I don't want the danish. It would be fun, it would taste amazing, I would feel like I was getting to take part in the day. But none of that changes the fact that I don't want to gain weight, I don't want the sugar crash, I don't want to feel bad later. So I don't eat it.
And it's not a holier-than-thou thing, even though when people expressly ask what they're doing wrong here and they are told they seem to think people are being assholes. When you start to lose weight, it sucks. A pill won't change that. Eventually, though, it doesn't suck. You see progress, you feel better, your joints hurt less, etc.
It's already been said, but I'll just reiterate for OP. Either bake your coke into your calories, which with that much sugar would mean reducing your intake by about 100 calories each day on top of what you've hopefully reduced, along with accounting for sugar. OR if you don't want to track calories, you don't get to have coke.
Either way, no one here really cares.

Well said. I have somewhat of a blessing/curse in that when I eat carbs(its been difficult to nail down exactly what food) I get inflammatory arthritis and I feel terrible. Carnivore is literally the only natural remedy ive found. I look borderline shredded most of the time but my body gives me no choice(unless I just want my knuckles to swell up)
*I find it amusing how everytime I bring up carnivore there are a few karens who downvote me

For me the plateau showed up after the first 5–6 weeks. I wasn’t sure if it was from muscle gain or just underestimating my calorie intake. What really helped was the evaluation I did through Minimal, where they adjusted both my meal plan and fitness routine. I got simple but precise recommendations: cutting back on sodas (even the “occasional” 20 oz bottles), along with a few tweaks on micronutrients.

Still will occasional coke, maybe a 20 oz bottle every 2-3 day
I honestly don't understand how and adult male at least nominally interested in good health can continue to pour huge cokes into their body.

Measure circumference of waist around belly button and track that along with weight. Could be recompositiin Also need to be 100% sure you are in a calorie deficit if trying to lose weight with or without meds.
