Ditto. I've been wearing an Oura ring and constant glucose monitor the past couple of months. It's someone shocking to see the direct impact on sleep quality - even from just one drink pretty far before bedtime.

And the literature around the impact of sleep quality on overall health and longevity is not particularly obscure.

Fact- alcohol is a toxin and bad for human consumption. We do it anyway. It helps people relax socially and some people get physically addicted and struggle to stop drinking.

I don’t think there is a single study that shows alcohol consumption at any level is good for the heart. Moderate intake is probably less bad but it’s still not healthy
