it is rare for the FDA to continue to approve more early on. The additional approvals tend to come over the following 3-5 years without any rush evaluation.
Knowing that there is a group of people who will take the Novavax vaccine over the others, the FDA should approve it to get those on board.
Traditional vaccine >>> MRNA

I got Pfizer and felt achy & fatigued for about 24 hours after 2nd shot. Then for about a month had some side effects relating to auto-immune reaction (mostly skin related).
I assume the skin issues would have happened with any of the vaccine options although not entirely sure.

Another thing to think about is this new variant that is seeming to spread quickly. What is your timeline for needing to be fully vaxxed? If you have enough time, it may be worth waiting a little longer to see if any info comes out on the vaccines and their efficacy to the new variant.
Interestingly enough you have to be vaccinated to get into Australia and the new variant made it there.

Sure but the point of the vaccine isn't to prevent illness - it's to prevent serious illness needing hospitalization. So as long as hospital rates among vaccinated people aren't rising, then I'm not worried about it.

I'm not starting an argument - genuinely curious.. why do you say this?

mRNA vaccines never passed trials before because all the animals died when reexposed to the disease they were vaccinated against. Like ADE response, these variants are most likely just that. CDC has said any recovered unvaccinated person is not able to transmit disease again, while very clearly the vaccinated do. Fauci himself has said illness is getting worse now (he didn't say worse than unvaccinated, just worse in general)for vaccinated including hospitalizations and death. The new variant making it to Australia when you have to be fully vaccinated to even get there is proof that the vaccines are causing either an artificially high spread rate or the variants themselves (ADE response). There's also that whole myocarditis and pericarditis, which is a very serious illness, and is most notably on display in European soccer. Then the president of Bayer has explicitly said the mRNA vaccines are gene therapy and they would have never been able to get people to sign up for it they way they have without calling it a vaccine.

Interesting. Some of those I have never heard of and would need to look into more. I’m already jabbed with Pfizer so it would just be for my knowledge. Myocarditis is a risk for natural infection too but I can definitely understand the risk/reward calculation that some people are having to do regarding that.
I don’t agree with the statement about vaccines causing more spread or causing variants but I also have nothing to support that.
Either way - thanks for the info. Like I said, not trying to debate but I do like to get the other side to understand where other people are coming from.

I'm not either. I'm just giving the info I've accumulated. If you want more let me know. I'm not trying to argue, I genuinely want people to be healthy and happy!
Bayer's president said it's not a vaccine, it is gene editing

What issues have you experienced if its not TMI.. I got the J&J shot a month ago and am seeing a doctor tomorrow about some possible side effects. I have been having loss of color in my fingers, they get extremely cold and pale. I live in SoCal so it definitely ain't the weather :)
