Waterrower — Slack on Recovery Stroke

Anyone here with a WR have this issue? I’ve increased bungee tension multiple times, checked that there was enough cord around the shaft, even called WR, who walked me through routing the line again, but when I start going at a good clip, the damn cord slacks and sometimes comes off the pulley.
