Visceral v. subcutaneous fat

Visceral is the ugly fat, pudge in the belly, that we want to lose right? It being the deeper fat around the organs has me confused.

Visceral fat is the more dangerous one that can cause extreme complications, both are obviously unhealthy. Peter Attia explains the difference:

visceral is the fat between organs, usually results in a hard protruding stomach.

in a sense yes, keto or low carb tends to help with visceral fat slightly more
