Just a heads up, titan is having a flash sale on their 30/24/20 foam playoff box and its $99 for today only. Little high for box squats for most people, but perfect for everything else.

Alert appreciated. Ordered the plyo box, parallette bars, and also the scratch-and-dent 90 lb EZ curl bar to incorporate some accessory work in my CrossFit programming.

Eventually would like to assemble my own wood plyo box for when more stability is needed.

Check YouTube. Plenty of DIY vids. I bought a piece of birch plywood at Home Depot and had them cut it into the necessary sections. All I had to do was assemble and cut two handles with a jigsaw. And sanded the edges. $45 and maybe an hour of my time

They're having a flash sale today on the Yukon bar for $165. Need to get any Oly bar, so not in market for one.

The plyo box and parallettes arrived last Friday in surprisingly quick fashion. Left them in the shipping box since hit the road on Sunday morning for a week long trip, but will check out and test out this weekend. My CF gym has the Titan foam and wood plyo boxes. I did take out the Titan parallettes and was really impressed, they appear to be of very good quality. Will also break those in this weekend.

I bought it for box jumps mainly, don't like hitting my shins. But mainly bought for my kids, as it can be dangerous if they miss a jump.

Might have to look into those. I only have the pvc versions. I like them, but would rather steel or wood.

I'm curious how it'll handle 30" jumps stability wise. I'll eventually get around to building a wooden one for more stability for weighted db and kb step-ups.

I have one of the Titan "heavy" boxes. It is good enough for me for 30" box jumps. I've used the lighter ones at a gym before and have had it completely topple over when landing. Haven't had that happen with the "heavy" box... so far.
