Thoughts on Bucked Up Six Point Creatine

I’ve been taking a brand with creapure, using a shake right after a workout. I know it’s a favorite on this forum.
Someone mentioned taking this before a workout instead. Thoughts on switching it up?

Creatine always sinks to the bottom of a shake, and inevitably gets left in the sludge at the bottom. Dry scoop two teaspoons like the man you want to be.

That looks like a bunch of gimmicky bullshite imo. All you need is 5g of creatine mono a day and that looks like fancy labeling to justify a higher price. Maybe something changed in the last couple of years, but that just sets off the fitness supplement red flags for me.

I would just stick with creatine monohydrate. It's cheap and is one of the few supplements that is proven to do what it claims. If I remember right, the other forms don't have as many legit studies backing them up. Yeah, maybe you'll get faster/more efficient absorption with some but is that worth the extra cost?

Creatine monohydrate is the most researched and widely regarded as the most effective form of creatine for improving strength, power, and muscle mass, with extensive scientific backing. Other forms listed, such as creatine gluconate, creatine anhydrous, tri-creatine malate, creatine ethyl ester HCl, and di-creatine malate, have less research supporting their efficacy. Some studies suggest these alternative forms may offer similar benefits, but the evidence is not as robust or consistent as with creatine monohydrate. For the best-supported option, creatine monohydrate remains the gold standard.

I wouldn't buy or use any health supplement branded as "Bucked Up."

Thanks all, I’ll be steering clear of it.

I remember when I was a sucker as a teenager for the gimmicky labels that was stated all these different kinds of muscle building, strength gaining, shirt popping supplements that just guaranteed strength gain and 10 lbs of muscle in weeks

Some of them may actually be better, but it's all just a guess, and even if they are better, it's only incremental. Just take a little extra to increase how much is actually absorbed.

I’ve switched to ConCrete gummies.
