With keto you honestly shouldn’t be hungry if you’re hitting your fat numbers. That’s the beauty of the WOE is that you don’t feel hungry and want to snack or eat above your allotted calories.
Why do you say shite that is your opinion as if it were a fact? Totally discredits you to anyone above a novice

Just looked at the settings and it looks like it didn’t capture my weight loss goal and the 2941 is maintenancs. I put the goal in and it dropped the calories down to 1941. Thankfully, it looks like I’m in line with that. Carbs dropped to 24/day so I need to tighten up there and have no “bad days”.

You obviously have no idea about satiety and fat. Go do research.

Okay good deal that’s still a 34% deficit which is large. I would suggest doing IF and or alternate day feeding. Research is showing that IF or alternate day fasting does not lower your RMR as compared to chronic calorie restriction. With as large of a deficit as your running I would be concerned about a lowered RMR eating multiple meals a day like you are.

I’m down to 172 from 200 in just seven weeks but jumped back up to 175 after eating heavier foods this week(big 16 oz steak and a bunch of fat bombs with almond flour) and being a bit constipated. Gonna do a 72 hour fast starting tomorrow with just snake juice and coffee. Hopefully that’ll clean me out and reset my fat burning. Goal is to get to 165 before my next doc appointment march 5th.

That’s awesome! Good work! Everyone who knows me on here knows I do not advocate anyone really eats fat bombs. It’s way too easy to overdo them.

Yeah I was doing fat bombs due to not getting enough fat but I’m gonna switch to mct oil purely. My concern is the almond flour is backing me up

Be very careful increasing your MCT oil intake. You may have some stomach issues if you’re not used to it.
I actually stopped using MCT oil awhile ago and have been getting my fat for more whole food sources. MCT oil is great for a boost of energy, but it really has no nutritional value.

Anyone have any updates?
I kind of went off plan the other day. My wife was making some beef bourguignon and of course the base is dry red wine. That’s fine and Keto, but about 75% of the bottle remained so between me and her we finished it off with dinner. Still Keto. Well my tolerance is shite so felt buzzed and started binge eating. Ate a bunch of Keto foods and halo top ice cream.
Moral of the story be careful drinking alcohol and sometimes you go off plan. Just shake it off and continue forward.

Mingo ignore him, I posted the satiety study that shows he is wrong, yet he won't admit it.

my biggest problem in Keto. I enjoy to drink after work. I did keto for about 3 months last year and lost 20 lbs after getting to the heaviest in my life (234). Stopped before thanksgiving and have kinda maintained but want to get back on and drop another 20 by my bday (march 4). Would like to be below 200 by then (sitting at 215 right now). The alcohol is my toughest part though. Especially weekends. I usually drink 20 or so beers on a Friday night with friends. I have switched to straight tequila but its still tough for me to stop at 3-4 shots for a whole night out.

That's objectively a lot of alcohol. There's no way you aren't absolutely fricked up drinking 20 beers. That's before we even talk about you are drinking 2000 calories

Yeah man, I would say that's not very conducive to a healthy lifestyle. It's fine to have some drinks here and there, but that's the classic definition of binge drinking. And once you drink, all bets are off when it comes to food, if you're anything like me. Even just a few drinks can really impair my ability to tell myself no around food.
Besides, 20 beers.. That's not a Keto problem, that's a hindrance to any weight loss efforts. That's 3,000 calories even at 150 calories/beer (Bud Heavy, for example). If you're drinking Bud Light it's still over 2,000 calories. That's a really tough surge of calories to overcome weekly. You would need to decrease your calories by an extra 400-500 calories per day just to account for the binge drinking, not including any extra calories from food you're ingesting and other drinks you may have during the week.
You want to lose more weight? You're going to have to cut back on that. We all know drinking is a large part of life, especially here in south LA, but you have to keep your goals in mind. Personally, I allow myself a single beer or two per week and that's it. I also account for the beers in my macros for a given day, which means i have to sacrifice eating food (particularly carbs) to have that drink.
