Strava and Updating Leaderboards

Yesterday I crushed an old PR mountain biking. It's letting me know that I have a new PR and its not updating the leaderboards for the trail I rode. I did take it off of private mode and shared it(got kudos from people haha).
Any clue on how to get it to post or update to the leaderboards? Going from Garmin vivoactive HR to garmin app to strava.

You clicked on the segment to see it and it’s still not changed?

Sometimes it takes a while to adjust leaderboards. Might check it on the webstite.
Plenty of times I 100% know I got a KoM and it takes a day or 2 to register.
There are a dozen hill segments in my neighborhood that I’m trying to KoM against some dude from out of town. A few times I was upset that he was still on top despite my best efforts then it adjusted to say I had the KoM a day later.
This week I knew I got 2 of them in a run and my Garmin didn’t send it to Strava (for the first time ever) and I lost my shite.
Downloaded the .tpx and uploaded it to strava in the web site. KoMs achieved.

I was Strava obsessed for like a 6 month period. Then I would forget to start it when I'd do a ride, or it would screw up and not record my segments, or I would be obsessing over whether I was PR'ing or not... anyway... I stopped using it, and I've been enjoying riding more.
That being said, I was temporarily top 10 for one of the biggest climbs in our area for a while... and considering the types of riders in our area (quite a few Cat1 riders), I was pretty happy.

I have linked to my Garmin connect. Mostly run. Rode my bike for the first time in a few months this week.

My watch automatically uploads to strava so I don’t have a choice.
I like segments because I am never going to tell myself to do sprints or tempo runs. I’m not training for anything and just in maintenance mode, so segments give me some goals to shoot for. The guys I run with are stupid competitive and we try to knock each other off all the time. I’m by far the slowest of the group but it’s more fun losing a segment than watching A&M choke another game.

Strava updates as soon you upload your ride. Have never seen a delay in 7 years using it.
