Appx 4 months ago, I got too rambunctious with a "knees over toes" guy quad and knee stretch and strained both, the left more severely. I made my first trip to my chiropractor last week and going back tomorrow. Chiro's typical method here is dry needling and TENS. Though ive only made on trip the pain has not subsided. any tips or tricks?
thanks
thanks

Dry needling, TENS, ice and heat are all the second best options to treat.
Unfortunately, the best option is to rest the quad.
Dealing with the same injury with my teenage son, who is stubborn as a mule. He's re-injured it twice after about two weeks of "re-hab." Shut it down for at least 4 weeks or longer with treatment.

The best option isn’t rest. Proper exercise loading and stretching is here, good luck finding a chiro that follows evidence based practice guidelines though

can you recommend some of the proper loading and stretches, as well as a protocol?
thanks to you both for the thoughts
