Stiff legged deadlift - have I destroyed my back?

I’ve been really careful on form and didn’t think I was going too heavy but my back feels like shite since my workout this morning. Should I scrap this from my workout or just go way lighter?
I had Romanian Dead Lifts earlier this week and those felt fine.
Stiff legged deadlifts feel like I’m picking up something heavy the way they always tell you not to pick up something heavy.

Depends on the feeling. Is it true pain? Like you can’t move without pain? Then yeah. See a doctor.
Stiff legged deadlifts destroy me as well, but it’s a level of soreness I usually don’t experience. I’m sure if I pushed it, I would injure myself. Instead, I go super, super light. Like the bar for 2x6. I’ve done that for three week. Next week I’ll add 5’s. For me it’s hamstrings, so I’m working more on stretching.
All depends on what’s actually going on with your back and the exercise.

My back is always sore after stiff leg deadlifts. If your form is good I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it. And FYI, even with proper form they always feel sketchy. I've been doing SLDL's for 15 years and I still get a little nervous when there's a bunch of weight on the bar.

Try using DB/s instead of the BB. That help me with back strain

This is how I do them. I already have a constant lower back pain, so I don't go real heavy on these. Maybe 65lb dumbbells.

I hit 395 on Monday and I thought I hurt my back.. was sore as hell all night then felt better in the AM
Then did 90 wall balls and 45 box jumps in a wod and was sore again.
I guess I’m always sore
