Have you done them before? I hated traveling for events, haha. Did 2 half's out of town. You quickly realize how much crap you have to pack. Granted we had a toddler as well. Not sure I'd want to travel for a sprint personally. But I was always interested in the NYC triathlon. I know they have an Olympic, not sure about sprint. It's kind of a lottery to get a spot though I believe. Otherwise the Houston area has a ton of events in the spring. I don't know what is still around though after Covid and I haven't raced in a couple years. There was one from the Kemah Boardwalk I believe where you started from a ferry out in the bay. That one always seemed neat.

Bay St. Louis tri is a fun one. Small race so you've got a better shot at placing for something, but the opposite of a cool event. Late July in south Mississippi is unforgiving.

Lake Lanier (outside ATL) is great. About 1000 people in non Covid environment

A bit hilly but not terrible.
Lake swim is very nice.
October so a bit cooler.
