Funny reading these comments.

This morning I just did Pool Season strong back day instead.

Week 1 done.

Not a huge fan of this plan solely based on how it’s structured. I don’t like how you are to work up the prescribed sets. It seems just his style.

I did hit 245 for 2 on cleans today which is the most I’ve ever done. So something is working.

Are yall sticking with this one?

I'm wrapping up Benchuary tomorrow and trying to decide between starting this one next or swapping it up with a 3 day/week plan like Garlic Milkshake.

I am still doing it. I'm not a fan of it at all, but I bought the shirt already and I am forcing myself to do it.

I don't like how his workouts are structured. I have to browse the comments to figure out more about the lifts.

Like today there was a super set posted at the end and it just said close grip. Close crip pushups? Close grip bench? I had to go scrolling. Then he had a second set of pullovers listed as a seperate workout and in the comments in replied to one saying, oh ya my bad just skip it I added it at the last minute and forgot to edit it.

I am just taking it for what it worth and trying to get better and stringer at cleans, I have started to adlib the extras.

I stopped. Instead I’m adding cleans and clean progressions to my current plan.

Just felt thrown together with no structure or explanation. If the goal is just do some cleans everyday I can program that myself tbh. I use it as a reference but that’s about it

It seems like there are a lot of negative/confused comments on IG and the programming isn't being received very well. Just from reviewing the daily workouts, I feel the same way. I don't want to sound lazy or ungrateful, but I like to have my workouts planned, clear, and concise. I don't feel like these workouts are written in a way that the masses can easily understand them. It shouldn't take scrolling thru comments in order to figure out what the lift is actually wanting you to do.

I'll continue to grab the daily plans. Maybe I'll revisit it when I have time to fully review and understand what is being asked.

For now I'm going to change up my routine and move from lifting 5-6 day/week down to 3 days/week (Garlic Milkshake) and incorporate some rucking on off days.

100% agree. With the other monthly plans, there was not many questions or concerns in the comments just everyone saying how much they love it. This one is straight up questions.

I’m not a fan of this one at all.

Anyone still working through this one?

I’m still chugging along.

Based on the number of IG comments and likes, you're probably one of the only people still doing this one. Bravo for sticking with it! I tend to be a completionist. Had I started it, I would've begrudgingly pushed through it.

I'm happy I choose to go with a combination of Garlic Milkshake and rucking instead.

This is one of my grievances with this program.

I read the military press and pull ups as a super set. But it looks like he wants you to work up to a 3 rep max then also some sort of way superset those with 4x5 pull-ups. I just don’t like how it he had the programed at all.

I ended up shutting it down.

I had a conference last week and didn't do any of the exercises. I wanted to go back and catch up, but I just got tired of the way he wrote the workouts.

I am back doing Arm Farm since it was a last minute switch yesterday. I plan on doing the new garlic milkshake next month.

I don't blame you. I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn Cleans. The plan however is nothing like the rest of the Sorinex sponsored months; Squatober, Deadcember, and Benchuary. Those are typically very straightforward regarding weight, sets, and reps. They have the occasional 'what-the-hell-is-that, let-me-Google-it' lift (ie the Pasta Press from Benchuary), but it isn't a daily ordeal. Oh well, it is what it is...

As far as Garlic Milkshake goes, I'm enjoying it. Each day walking in the gym until walking out has been taking me 1:15 - 1:30. A couple of notes are you will need to add your own warm-ups and watch the SS combinations. They are deceptive and will sneak up on you. Besides my typical stretching, I've been adding 4-5 sets of empty bar thru 50-55% before bench, squat, and deadlift; on RFESS days I do 3x5 empty bar routine of squat, OHP, RDL, good mornings, and bent rows. Watch out for day 5 in the rotation, the pull-up/high rep DB RDLs (for me) is tricky to pick the correct DBs.

Thanks for the heads up. I will have to look elsewhere then more than likely. That is a little too long for me during my lunch break.

Any other good PPSA programs that are 60-70 minutes? I find Arm Farm is the best for my time, which is why I run it constantly.

I compared my Arm Farm times and they are slightly longer than Garlic Milkshake. So if you're completing Arm Farm in that time, you should be fine. I'm typically not in a hurry and could definitely be more efficient with my time. Garlic Milkshake is 15-18 sets with 1:30-2 min rests plus whatever warm-up and/or cool down you add.

Layout is:
Lift 1 for 4-5 sets
Lift 2 for 4-5 sets
Lift 3a/3b for 3-5 sets
Lift 4a/b/c/d for 3-4 sets
*4d is only on days 1 and 4 of the rotation.

Yea, that is the exact same layout as Arm Farm. That is what I will be doing next month!
