You getting just a balloon/irrigation in the office or a full FESS?

Have fun when they take the splints out!

About a week. You’ll be a mouth breather during that time. Can’t taste food without breathing through your nose. Had mine done in 1980. Splint removal is a bitch.

I had this done in the summer of 2018. Surgery was fine. Two days of watching Netflix no problem.... but when I went back about 7 days later to have the "packing removed", geez! That was by far the worst part. Felt like they were digging in my brain! After 2 weeks I was lifting and exercising like normal.

It was worth it but that packing removal made me want to kick that doctors arse! And that was after he tried to deaden it.

Yeah it’s not bad. Good thing is you can move around fine.

Lay low for a few days. I had it on a Friday and was working from home Monday.

Like others said taking bandage off was worst part. If you have Valium take it before you go.
