Shoulder pain. Need a specialist. Anyone resurfaced a shoulder?

I have a 59 year old buddy in Baton Rouge who is having lots of shoulder pain and has been seeing a doc in New Orleans, but he isn’t getting relief after platelet-rich plasma treatment and the doctor is reluctant to do a resurfacing. He wants to continue lifting weights and remain physically active after getting it fixed. He is a workout warrior kind of guy. His personal research has lead him to thinking arthrosurface hemicap shoulder resurfacing is the best option.
Anyone done this?
Who is the best shoulder guy in Baton Rouge or should he look elsewhere?

Best shoulder guy in Baton Rouge is Marc Field. Don’t know what he would say about what your buddy is asking for but I’d trust whatever he said.

Mark Field is the man.
