Down about 7 lbs over the past few weeks after cutting back on the beers. I still have a few on the weekends but I usually have a Delta 8 vape pen at the same time which makes me drink far less and puts me to bed far earlier. Also when I eat I have made it my goal to slow it down and not eat until I am bursting at the seams.

Focus going forward now is trying to get some quality sleep, tracking on my Apple Watch is showing that I am getting less than 6 hours of sleep per night.

I've seen your previous posts.
Are you tracking protein intake? What are your goals?

My Goal is to be lean enough around the middle to have visible abs. Not there yet. Secondly to keep getting stronger on the big lifts.
I have continued to get stronger but my waist at the naval has stayed about the same since mid September.

Me too! I’ve got a long way to go though. 1 day at a time I guess

That area definitely seems to take the longest to see results but do you have pants that are a waist size smaller? I had some in my closet and tried them on recently, I was surprised that they fit even though I didn’t see any progress.

Has anyone started to make plans as far as cutting for a potential spring break trip? I will be headed to the Florida Keys for a week in March and would like to try to cut as much fat as possible. Every time that I have tried my hand at dieting I have been able to drop weight I have been successful but my body composition stayed roughly the same.

Hey guys. I could really use some pointers. I am 37 years old and I have a very busy work schedule. I work 12 hour shifts mostly sitting behind a desk and that makes it difficult to go jogging or go to the gym. I have been getting better with that over the past few weeks. I really try to watch what I eat, but I work in a hospital and there is always a going away party or birthday party of some sort.

I did WW earlier in the year and stuck right to it, but didn't lose any weight. Now I've been trying low calorie. I've been eating 2 boiled eggs in the morning, sipping on a frozen Premier Protein mid morning. eating grilled chicken salad for lunch (the dressing might be a problem), and at night usually eating a couple of cans of albacore tuna and steamed vegetables. Sometimes I snack on apples too. I would typically drink one coke zero every day but I've been weaning myself off of those and now drinking water with the mixed in with 0 calorie drink enhancers from walmart for energy. I almost never drink alcohol unless I'm on a date or hanging out with friends.

I'm 6'0" tall. I saw my PCP earlier in the year because of my fatigue. I was worried about my testosterone being low, but my test came back normal. My weight is about 205 lbs. I like when I am about 180 lbs, but I wouldn't mind being heavier than that if it is muscle.

I thought I would update you guys. I am down 16.4 lbs since mid September and I had Thanksgiving and my birthday fall this month.

Have you stuck to the eggs/chicken/salad/tuna or found a new mix?

Congrats on not giving up or making excuses

Depends on the day but sometimes eat scrambled eggs out of my hospital cafeteria and a banana. Other days I eat 2 boiled eggs.

Lunch I either eat a grilled chicken salad with Hughes dressing from Walmart.
Other days I sip on a frozen Premier Protein mid afternoon. Today I bought a portable blender and I poured my Premier Protein and my banana and mixed it in my blender.
Depending on how hungry I am at night, I'll usually eat an apple or sometimes I'll eat grilled chicken off of George Foreman grill and heat up a bag of vegetables from Walmart. Sometimes I will heat up a can of chicken noodle soup and pour it over a bag of cauliflower rice.

Do you use any seasoning on the grilled chicken?

Just a little salt and pepper. This is the salad dressing and sauce I use to dip chicken in.

Monday Check in

1st month of getting my diet right. I added exercise last week. Slow but steady.

255/239/200 16 lbs in a month. Granted, I know a lot of those first 10 lbs were water weight. I was very bloated when I first weighed in. Im going to keep grinding. Im thinking about doing a 3-5 day fast and see if I can do it.
