Not the whole thing. Have important meetings all day tomorrow and dry makes me feel like shite. So maybe Thursday and Friday.

So i am back fasting today. Stopped eating around 6 last night so a good ways in. Going to try and do just bone broth with grass fed butter at night for the next few nights. I do have a chuck eye steak already cooked though that i will eat sometime during the week, prolly wednesday.

so I will be doing modified 24 hour fasting and using the principles of a fat fast to get into deep deep ketosis and burn off the last bit of fat i need to get off before I leave saturday for vacation.

Will stay under 700 cals all week with 90% coming from fat except for the day i decide to have the steak.

on vacation i will try to restrict my eating to prolly 2 meals a day but i can't promise anything lol especially once i start drinking.

Well I’ve decided to start Keto and intermittent fasting today

Bought extra virgin olive and coconut oil yesterday.

Today I had a chicken schwarma and gyro salad. Will eat my hamburger patties I cooked last night around 5 pm with no bun this evening.

Weight right now is 220. Still fat as hell but it beats being 5’9 250 like I was a year ago..

I don’t feel like I mentally WANT to be there.
I love y’all, but frick dry fasting.

7, you making the bone broth yourself?
I’ve given that idea a run through a few time’s, but no actual attempts yet.
I broke tonight at 26 hours with tuna, so far no issues, I’m hoping it was just unfortunate timing.
Will keep keto compliant until lunchtime tomorrow and then fast again until Thursday evening, post workout, so that way I only have to do one more fasted workout this week, because frick fasted workouts, I’m not a fan.

Aka sugar water. 8 oz of coconut water has about 15g of sugar. Just FYI, not saying it's good or bad (it's bad in this context--to break a fast and with no fat or protein).

It's for breaking a dry fast and the electrolytes in it.

Right. I just don't know why one would break a dry fast with coconut water. Take a pinch of potassium citrate w water. Or really break it with something besides pure fructose. It's only a small amount of potassium really. Not sure how that's worth the sugar bomb, but to each his own.

Edit: instead of downvoting, explain to me why that's the best choice? I mean, if you like the taste (meh) then fine, but the "electrolytes" reason is weak especially if you're going through the trouble of fasting. Drinking a ton of fructose post-fast seems like a waste of the fasting effort, for not THAT much electrolyte (when you can get potassium from a simple supplement (or real food if you're breaking your fast w coconut water anyway).

I guess I just want to know why this is good. Not being a dick.

Day 4 of ketogenic and IF for me

As long as I have caffeine (no sugar) I’m usually ok with energy. Cooking and using cold press extra virgin olive oil has helped with my fats tremendously.

Will start to use my coconut oil soon.

I can now fit in pants that I didn’t think I would so soon
