In my 40s, just started working out. Trying 3days a week of 1hr threadmill and 40mins of weight lifting.

Looking to try some protein drinks.

Any recs? I bought a bottle of Core Power Elite high protein (42g) chocolate . Will try it on my next workout day.

I like Core Power. Taste good and is pretty filling. If you’re going to drink a shake after every session, you may want to look into buying powder. Buying the bottles might get a little pricey long term. I use Muscle Pharm Combat whey protein. I get the 6 lb bags from Costco for around $40.

Thanks. I prefer the convenience atm.

Usually I eat within 1-1.5hr post-workout.

Any thoughts on Muscle Milk from the container?

What about 42g Protein vs 26g?

You are way over thinking this man. Just drink one that taste good to you and is whey isolate.

In the end if you consistently hit your calorie and protein numbers....all the other shite is just static noise in the background.

I buy these and the vanilla by the case off Amazon to make them much cheaper.
They’re the best tasting pre-made shakes. Taste exactly like melted ice cream.
Muscle Milk is nasty.
