I’m curious what every one else here progressed the fastest at when it comes to strength. For me my deadlifts went the fastest until I hit the plateau while squats where the slowest and bench and overhead press where somewhere in the middle.

Deads were the fastest for me.

Squats, over time, have probably been second fastest. Bench, I plateaued for a long time until I fixed my form.

You just have more capacity to add with dead and squat. Beginning to current, I've probably added close to 400.

Makes sense. Thank you.

I’d say squats for me. I got thick arse legs. Followed by deads. Bench and OHP are hard gainers, but I’m not too bad.

Bench press is my best lift and progressed the fastest a a % of BW; but raw numbers-wise, if someone isn’t progressing faster on squats or deads faster than bench they’re doing something wrong on their leg days imo.

Right. You have some big, powerful muscles controlling squat and dead. Absent something weird, they should always outpace bench.

Your chest and triceps will never match glutes, hams and quads for pure power output.
