Anyone who has run these programs, what is a good rule of thumb for the training max? Wording is a bit vague, but I was thinking of using 92-95% as an “everyday max”

80-90%. no more than 90 and 85 seems to be sweet spot. this is the same as 531.

use same progression also.

Aaron has said 90% in the past so keep that in mind.

I say 95%. That's typically what I use for any program. 90% is a little too light. For squatober our crew just went off 100%. Probably shouldn't have, but we didn't miss any reps which was good.

it depends really where you are with your progress in a lot of ways.

I've asked him directly on instagram and he said 90%. I haven't maxed out in awhile so I use 100% of my estimated max

Ok yeah think I’ll roll with option 2, did day 1 of pool season yesterday with 90% definitely think a little heavier wouldn’t hurt

ftr training age, real age and lifestyle should dictate it.

if you are young, dont have kids and can be dedicated to the lifting....do option 1 or 2.

if you are an old frick like me with young kids running you ragged....yea better go with a lower training max of 90% or lower.

I picked some pretty low numbers as estimates and I have been having great results so far.

Don't think I'll max to get a new number, just going to keep adding 5-10lbs per 4 week program.
