It is absolutely 100% a scam. Your stomach has a pH of around 2 - 3. That "alkaline water" is immediately neutralized by your stomach. Furthermore, it could actually stimulate an increase in gastric acid secretion and increase your risk of stomach ulcers.
Your body keeps the pH of your blood around 7.4 - a balance mainly between your lungs and kidneys. This only varies in extreme medical conditions such as shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, renal failure, respiratory failure, etc. Even patients with chronic kidney disease whose pH begins to drop they have to be given loads of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) 3 - 4 times per day every day to even begin to budge their pH.
So you're $2000 filter isn't going to do anything but drain your wallet and make someone else a lot of money. I'm happy to take $1K of it and save you a thousand, though.

No
In fact I can't even figure out what the frick the alleged benefit is after reading all of the BS.
Your body has a very narrow PH range that it stays within and if you don't stay within that range you'll die. You aren't going to move the needle too much with diet. And be thankful that you won't because you'll fricking kill yourself if it actually worked.

Just the latest in the long and illustrious history of medical scams and snake oil salesmen. Many posters have already explained from a simple chemistry standpoint it just makes no sense.
