Please help me read/understand this nutrition label / Quest Cookie

I will sometimes have a Quest protein bar for my morning meal if i'm running late or don't have time to cook breakfast. This morning I saw the Quest Cookie so I grabbed it before looking at the ingredients. Once I got in the car, i checked out the ingredients and was pretty alarmed at what I saw. To me, this doesn't look healthy as the sat fat is high.
When someone smarter than me is looking at this, what do you see? Something to pass on or would it be ok as a snack/mid-day meal supplement?

over-processed crap (basically)

0 trans fat
From a macro level, like stated above, it looks great. But it's not a whole food and is very proceeded.
In other words it will do as a macro friendly treat but I wouldn't make a habit of it if your goal is fatloss and/or health.

I mean, given the choice between some girl scout peanut butter patties or frozen thin mints and a Quest cookie, only a tongueless human would choose a Quest cookie.

I totally agree. Thin mints for the win but if you want to get in a little dessert and hit your macros these cookies are perfect.
It's hard to stop eating a box of frozen thin mints

Sorry, I meant Saturated Fat...my brain read one thing and thought something else.

Did I miss something? There's nothing wrong with saturated fat so long as it works into your overall macro goals.

I would assume that's true for body composition ... but what about cholesterol? Is that still true?
I know what to eat as far as composition goes but not necessarily for internal health.

The calories listed is incorrect. The package list 250 calories but it's actually 289 calories. I believe they're reducing the calories because of the fiber content and rounding.

I don’t really have goals when planning my meals. I do my beat to eat fresh (rather than overly processed) and include fruits and veggies into as many meals as possible. This cookie would be a last minute but on my way into work with a water to hold me over until lunch time when I would get a salad and sandwich from Panera.

That’ll blow up your macros for the day.

Well 80%+ of health benefits come from the weight loss itself Or thereabouts. For someone like you already in shape, yea not the best, but it's only going to matter so much.
