Over a year ago, I was diagnosed with a Pituitary Tumor which I posted about on here. We've had a few issues with Test supply, the endocrinologist team I have been seeing not familiar with the certain treatment I need, issuing incorrect needles for injections, ordering the wrong blood work etc.

I think we finally have it figured out, but my doctor refuses to raise my Test levels. I have consistently tested in the 500 range, which while in "normal ranges", if I have to give myself injections weekly, I'd rather be closer to the 800-1000 range for the added health benefits. We've had the conversation twice now, and every time I get the same response. "Not a problem, we will review your blood work in 3 months and make a decision then," Which results in the exact same prescription being issued.

Is it time for me to search for another endocrinologist, and does anyone have any suggestions? BR area is really my only options at this point.

My dad had one .. they found it truly by accident after he had bypass surgery. His sodium was way low and his kidneys were iffy (never a problem before). They sent him home and within two days he was back in the hospital and had to have it removed.

It was affecting his vision which he hadn’t really paid much attention to — thought he just needed glasses (hadn’t ever needed) and hadn’t made an appointment before the unexpected bypass surgery.

Good luck. That doesn’t answer you question but I will say a second opinion is always worth consideration.

go find a urologist that is really good. but make sure they understand the tumor issue and get all of the info before they make a decision. I dont know much about pituitary tumors but want to make sure raising the dose isnt going to do more harm than good.

I don't think that looking solely at test levels is appropriate. Your body is a system, and when you raise one level another will likely fall. 500 is a good level to be at and from what I have seen a lot of the benefit drops off around 600 - I'm not an expert though.
