Pain in inner elbow

Back in August I was using a nail gun overhead, starting feeling sharp pain and weakness deep in my inner elbow. I have not been to the Dr yet but I have been resting it and wearing a compression brace. It will start feeling a little better but as soon as I try and hold anything with my arm stretched out, my arm just gives out. Anyone have any dealings with this?

Put out your hand on the injured arm. Keep your fingers flat and stiff.
Start pressing down on each fingernail and see which finger triggers the pain in the elbow.
