Are you already in pretty good shape?

As of this morning, I'm 6'3" 248lbs. Goal is to at least get down to 220lbs. I've always been a big guy, but it's not like belly big. I wear XL shirts, and 36x32 pants that are loose in the waist. I workout 3-4 days per week. My focus has been more weights than cardio, but going high rep than more weight. That being said, I ran 2 half marathons last year, so I'd like to think I'm in decent shape.

As far as the macro tracker, I used to use My Fitness Pal pretty regularly; but haven't really since my wife and started trying the keto diet. I can't remember exactly why, but I think it was something with trying to get the macros right on there and I couldn't get it right for some reason. Might have to look into Carb Manager

Not gonna say it’s a miracle diet but holy hell i feel like it’s reversing my type 2

I really wish it was standard of care to prescribe a constant blood glucose monitor when one is diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. So much shite could be solved with just that.

As far as the OPs question goes, best thing to control blood sugar is long duration fasting combined with strict keto. When I say long duration I mean 72 hours of water fasting only.

For the people who have diabetes please don't do this. Just because some "expert" on a message board says it's a good idea doesn't mean it is.

ETA: Not bashing, I know you didn't mention diabetics in post, but some may interpret it wrong.
