I'm over 50 and also a runner. You can't out run a bad diet anymore.
Completely understand, but this is not my issue. I'm eating extremely healthy right now. My issue is with knee paint through jogging (run/walks), which I am 100% sure will be the best exercise to drop fat pounds (from prior decades of exercise) because for some reason I push myself so much harder for this than any other type of exercise. Plus, I don't have some of the options available to me that were suggested for other exercises, and I don't have the money for a gym membership due to being almost $100K in debt due to 3.5 years of cancer treatments.
I purchased turmeric and will give it a shot. I'll follow up either way to tell the results.

The tumeric you bought probably costs about the same as a gym membership per month, and that isn’t going to fix your problems.
First thing you need to do is get your weight down, that will make a huge difference. You already admit you need to lose 40lbs, which really probably means you need to lose 60-80. I can’t tell you how much of a difference that will make.
If your knees still bother you after that, try all the other shite. And if getting a gym membership is really that big of an ordeal, I’ll give you the $10-$20 a month it costs.

It costs me $25 for a four month supply. Sorry, but this is much cheaper than a gym membership.

I said I needed to lose 30 - 40 pounds and thats what I need to lose. Like I said multiple times, I've been exercising for several decades. I know my body weight and what is a healthy weight for me.

Duh. That's why I want to do run/walks because I already stated that works very well for me. See my previous reply about exercising for several decades.

I'm $100K in debt for cancer treatments, and I'm going through a divorce where my wife will get a boatload of my retirement along with a ridiculous amount of spousal & child support. Since you are a big baller, I'll send you my P.O. Box and just send that $20 check each month, but if you quit giving dumb advice to me, I'll just tear the checks up instead of depositing them. It would be well worth the $20/month.

Have you checked with your insurance provider to see if they offer anything that could help with a gym membership? Some provider plans offer discounts or reimbursements through wellness initiatives.

I was serious but since you want to be a cocksucker, good luck

Be warned, do not buy the liquid "Tropical Oasis Joint Complete Premium." I bought it last week and the taste of it made me make a face worthy of being a meme. I'm almost making "the face" just thinking about it. It says "better taste results may be achieved when mixing with juice or similar beverage." Sorry gents, you could mix this stuff with warm piss and I'd want more piss flavor.

I'm reviving this thread to tell Don Quixote "Thank You for the recommendation of Turmeric".
This is a game changer for me. After only a week and a half of taking it and taking that long off from running to get my knees feeling better, I'm not only running much longer, but now I don't feel any pain in my knees.
I recommend to anyone having knee or joint inflammation from running/jogging to use turmeric. It allowed me to continue exercising when there was a good chance I was going to cut out jogging due to the pain.

Why you should not be running
At the very least I don’t think you should be “weightlifting hard” and doing any significant jogging.
Were you 50 in those several decades?

I've been weightlifting hard for 2 months and feel great about that, but I incorporated jogging to try and drop some weight (need to lose about 30-40 pounds), but I'm having some major pain in my knees after each jog (actually doing run/walks).

I'm already taking Glucosamine Sulfate
I took glucosamine for several months years ago and my joint pains got worse. I talked to several of my orthopedist and all of them said more than half of the patients they see it makes the joint pain worse. All told me it is just a matter of individual. Some say it helps, some it doesn’t. I quit taking it as they recommended and after a couple months the pain went away. It took awhile to get it through my system.
Losing weight helps all joint health too. Especially hips, knees ankles. It reduces inflammation and relieves pressure. My knee guy said every pound of weight lost is 4-5lbs of pressure off the knee joint.
I’ve had several complete joint replacements which is why I have multiple Dr. left knee replaced, right knee has been wrecked and bone on bone for last five-six years and I’ve lost 50 lbs and have zero pain in it when before it was scheduled for replacement.
