After y'all inject, do you get a tiny bit of leakage once you pull out the needle? It didn't happen for the first month or so once I started the TRT injections. For some reason, it's started to do it over the past week or so.

Just a tiny amount.

Almost every time. The amount that leaks is clinically insignificant according to my doc.

Common. You can leave needle in for a little longer after injection is complete to help with some.

anybody here taking DIM(Diindolylmethane)? I've seen it recommended for it's effects on estrogen and overall prostate health. Just wondering if it's worth it.

I've been off of TRT for 3 weeks now. I'm really feeling it, getting super irritable. Taking clomid, boron, and ZMA currently. Hopefully I can knock my wife up quickly so that I can get back on.

Taking clomid
Found your problem. Been there. I wish you luck with the fertility. It did nothing for me.

Have you drawn labs lately to see what could be out of wack?

I didn’t take DIM but my urologist had me on a shitload of AI. I felt absolutely terrible and super moody.

I'm mainly on it to help produce my own test. If I get worse I'll stop the clomid and see if it helps.

Doing labs again in about 2 months.

Per my doc my estrogen levels on my last lab were not really high enough to be a concern as far as side effects go so I wasn't prescribed anything. From my dumb experiments with gear in my 20s I remember they made me feel like dogshite.

you need to get on HCG asap

baylor medical protocol for restoring fertility in males

50mg of clomid EOD(will make you moody and feel like shite)
3000 iu of hcg on opposite days. (yes 3 thousand)

HMG if needed but for most, the above will make it happen.

you are not going to get her pregnant unless you restore and stimulate LH

also add cialis at 5-10mg a day

stay on the clomid, will give you bigger loads and keep test levels high enough to actually do it. But the HCG is absolute must, no negotiable. Your doc is not very smart in these things if that is not the first thing they suggested.

Anyone here taking HCG with their TRT? I started a couple months ago and I feel my overall mood &sleep has improved big time. Could be coincidence but I’m going to continue the course for now. 500IU MWF

i do not and have never found it to help mood or anything in the past. Im fixed and want my balls to be as small as possible as they are useless so i see no reason to take it.

My doc saw some of the typical markers drop after being on TRT for a few months and asked if I wantedt o start HCG. Really didn't see a need as I wasn't interested in having any more kids. Other than that, would there be a reason to start it?

Increased D sensitivity and better orgasms. I found mine getting a little dull at times. It would take forever to finish. I’m not looking for marathons Neither is the wife.

I can’t say it’s made a huge difference but it has helped some. I drew labs this am so I’m curious to see how things look since starting it. Something has definitely changed though. I’ve been wayyy more patient with the kids and just typical bullshite.

Since I've been on TRT at the beginning of January, my hematocrit has jumped from 42% to 49.4%. At what point should I consider donating blood to lower that? I absolutely hate donating blood so the longer I can avoid this the better.

No need to donate. Hydrate & add in cardio. Nothing wrong with hct 49

It’s always best to drink at least 40oz of water pre labs in AM since you’re essentially dry first thing In the morning

Who are you going through for labs, how often, and what specific things to look at? I’ve been on TRT since January as well, but haven’t been regularly testing everything for a complete picture. I usually get everything checked once/year.

Can someone recommend what all I should specifically be looking at and how often? For TRT specifically, and also overall health?

I’ve seen fitomics mentioned here before.

I’ve also jotted down some things from other replies/threads here:

CBC
CMP
Lipids
Total/Free T
IGF-1
Spot check B12 & VitD occasionally
Estradiol, Sensitive (LC/MS-MS)

I do my labs quarterly mainly because I pay for Fitomics so I may as well use it.

CBC
CMP
Lipids
Test
IGF
PSA (annually)
Occasional spot check of E2
Lipo(a) annually

I need to re check VitD & B12 like you said. I plan to do that in August.

I’m using Maximus Tribe for the first year of the protocol then will go off on my own. Included in initial labs, 1 month and 3 month. I’m on my 6th month so I signed up a month of that subscription service Fitomics someone posted in here a while back that provides heavily discounted labs through Labcorp. Will probably cancel that subscription and just sign back up again in 6 months for another round of labs

Is there a big negative for VitD to be high? I take a 5000iu daily supp. Always been in the "normal" range but this recent lab showed me 131 ng/ml (normal range listed as 30-100)
