I'm getting back into tennis for cardio and socialization. I have a Prince racket from 15 years ago that is still pretty good. However, I want to have a second one on me just in case the Prince breaks on me. What is a good racket these days?

Thanks!

If you haven’t used it in 15 years you’re gonna need to get that re-strung.

I got a Babolat Pure Strike at a 50% off sale during the us open. I mean, I don’t want to give the racquet all the credit, but my groundstrokes have never been better.

I heard at tenniswarehouse.com you can rent several rackets to try out pretty cheaply before you buy. Never done it myself though.

Lofty spelling of "racquet", mate - that's how the lads at the All England Lawn Tennis club spell it

Just got a new Prince Beast from Tennis Warehouse.. normally $189 but on sale for $159.. haven’t played with it yet, going to go hit against the wall at the local facility today just to get a feel for it, but i actually like Prince’s new offerings, i have three of them, and this one’s supposed to be top of the line.
