I've completed P90X and have lived off of that and a combo of things for a few years now. Recently tried to do a blend of P90X, P90X3, and training for a 5K. Tonight, I popped in the Legs & Back DVD, and I just don't have it in me. Feel like I have everyone of those DVDs memorized and it's just a chore now.

I'm over 40 and looking to drop about 20 pounds. I thought about trying Insanity, but I'm not sure. Definitely want to keep my running going because I do play soccer and softball.

What do the fine men and women of the board suggest?

Greyskull lp with hard Conditioning for 12 min after the 3 lifting sessions. Performance based running on 2-3 other days. And clean your diet up.

Have you looked into Beachbody On Demand? It's inexpensive and has tons of great workouts available. I, too, get tired of doing the same old, same old. I find them challenging and I've enjoyed the variety.

You just finished P90X and still have 20lbs to drop?

No. I've done P90X in the past. It worked for me, but that was about eight years ago. Got down to 176, but I think that was way too low. I'm at about 215 now and would like to be around 190.

Thank you, Whodattigah. It's certainly appeared in my inbox about 50 times. I was wondering about subscribing or just picking one workout and going with it.

I did P90 a lot in the past and like you I can recite the damn workouts. Hate the sound of Tony’s voice. A friend recommended Lift4. I’m on week 3 and like it for the most part. It’s only 30-40 minutes 4 days a week. Still getting sore after week 3. I usually mix in jogging a few days a week as well.
