Ancore is good, would prolly go rayofi but ancore is more proven especially for rotational athletes

Thanks. I’ll bookmark this and revisit Rayofi if the Ancore Pro doesn’t work for me.

Ancore is better for rotational than the others imo, smoother

#1-3 ordered. $725.00 off typical purchase price.

FTR I will be going with the Ancorex more than likely sometime early next year. My biggest concern is use for rotational power development unlike most here
if you are looking for cable style feel....the beyond power voltra is amazing. If you are looking for ability to change the strength curve or the feel of a cable crossover...the beyond power is best
if you just want just basic resistance profile, the Rayofi and normal ancore provide that. Rayofi is cheapest and if not doing rotational movements...prolly the best value.
so i would rank them like this for non-rotational movements
Best- Beyond Power Voltra- overall the best and most versatile. Struggles with high speed rotational style moevements, but shines everywhere else
Best Value- Rayofi
for rotational movements
Best- Proteus Motion- not really for home use and over 10grand
Next best Keiser machine- again huge $$ and not really for home use
Best for home use would be the Ancorex- pnuematic powered like Keiser and is compact, can adjust easiest. but is over 1500 per
ancore pro would be the the best budget value if you are doing lots of roational movements.

Any opinions or recommendations on hip thrust machines?
Mainly looking for convenience so that it's not such a pain to setup each time and bc we only have 1 bench so it's hard for us to workout together if I'm benching and she's thrusting

what are you looking to spend? how much room you have
i mean the best is prolly the nautilus glute drive or the bootybuilder platinum if talking pure commercial but the bret contreras thruster pro and the elitefts signature hip thrust are prolly overall better for someone serious as they have more adjustability and with all the band peg options can adjust the strength curve more.
a very good option for the garage gym is the freak athlete hyper pro. still using barbell but allows a separate space to do it. You can add the BC Thruster plates that are like 2" bigger than normal plate to make setup easier.
or you could go even cheaper and grab a basic glute bench pad from BC strength or thruster plus the pads and bar from BC to make things easy.
So all depends on how much space you have and how much you want to spend...is it 5k or under 1k.

Thanks. Ended up just going with a rack attachment. The machines were tempting but I just don't have space for it and would have to leave it in my basement. Which would mean either carrying plates up and downstairs all the time or buying a 2nd set of plates which was too much $
We will still have issues benching and hip thrusting at the same time but we'll just have to plan that out ahead of time. Plus I already have band pegs on the rack

Did you not like this piece of equipment? I just got mine in and will be assembling it this afternoon. Why are you looking to get rid of it?
Thinking it will be a good addition to my RM-6 set up I already have.

My new goal in life is to have a garage look half as organized as your old one. Awesome setup.
