I started OMAD a year ago and have lost 30 pounds. 5’10 from 195 to 165. I only do it during the week and do 12 hours of fasting on Sunday.

I do weight training 5 days a week and do around 5-6 hours of cardio on my elliptical a week. I am very happy at where I’m at but still want to tone up a bit. Any advice?

how many calories are you putting away in that meal? you should be pretty lean at 165 and your height. you possibly need to eat some more and put on a little muscle mass.

I really just eat whatever I want. Usually a large sub, Moe’s, or my wife’s home cooking.

165 at 5'10? You must be cut as hell.

I’m getting there but can’t lose the flab around my midsection. May be the booze on the weekend

Its definitely the alcohol and diet at this point. I’ve cut down from 205 to 185 on several occasions in the past few years. Basically same refining as yourself with OMAD and working out. Losing the weight was never an issue. However, losing more fat, despite being the same weight lost, required me to cut out alcohol and junk food. It’s strange how different I can look and feel at 185.

How tall are you NotoriousFSU? I would love to get back to that weight. I'm 6ft but have a ways to go.

Avoiding this sure does speed things up.

Not sure what your age or weight is, but a clean diet where you’re fasting on a daily basis, as well as no booze, will get you to drop weight quickest. I also lift 3-5 times per week (usually full body workouts) and play basketball just as often so that’s important too for cutting imo. All my physical activity is done in a fasted state. Just water and black coffee till after my workout is done.

Didn’t really keep track of calories since it was OMAD. Made sure I was getting lots of protein tho, didn’t worry about fats, and my carbs came mostly from sweet potatoes.
