Friend of mine says he has taken Arginine for a couple years with his training and it helps with soreness by increasing blood flow
So is this similar to a creatine effect where you recover faster? anybody with any experience with this?

I don’t know about recovery but people do use it for better pumps and its a common ingredient in pre-workouts, or the precursor l-citrulline
ETA: In fact I would look at taking citrulline malate instead

Flushing blood to any sore spots is always a good thing. Won’t be bad for you blood pressure as well. Your body will use arginine along with other aminos to make creatine naturally though.

It’s a vasodilator and relaxes blood vessels. Increases pump in the gym and can be good for the heart. Has a minimal GH release effect if taken before bed. Citrulline does the same things.
