Just started taking Vyvanse. Is it okay to drink coffee or energy drink while on it?

I’ve never had a problem only problem is finding a pharmacy that has some in inventory

I’m about to start 10mg adderall. Have bad adhd and paid a lot to get tested but haven’t been medicated
I’ve taken SSRIs and Wellbutrin and they haven’t worked so now wondering if the adhd untreated has been causing the other two
I would take it easy the first week and take it the first thing in the morning

I've been on as much as 70mg/day of Adderall and still had a coffee or energy drink sometimes. Never a problem.
I don't know how Adderall compares to Vyvanse, though.

Vyvanse is much, much less “speedy” than adderall. It also creates a superior focus, imo. So yeah, you’re fine with caffeine on Vyvanse.

I didn't drink coffee when I was taking vyvanse. I'm super sensitive to stims and it felt like I could see into the future when on it. I'd workout at lunch and when I'd take pre workout on vyvanse my heart rate would get crazy high to the point of being uncomfortable.
I don't think there's any reason not to try it out. I remember asking my doctor about it and he said most folks are fine (with it in moderation) but folks sensitive to stims should probably avoid it.

My damn doc refuses Vyvanse, keeps putting me on non stimulant meds. The 1st didn't work, and it was 600mg a day. Just started another, it takes 8 weeks to ramp up to dosage.

I mean, you can but why bother? Especially the energy drink, you will not need it. I can see why people would still want to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning though.
The only time I had trouble with coffee was when I was dehydrated, which Vyvanse can do to you. Make sure you are getting plenty of fluids.
I took Vyvanse for a while but have had to switch lately because of supply issues. I much rather Vyvanse.
