I just got a notification he's going to attempt it on a livestream on June 27.
A year ago, the bench record was 738 and had moved about 20 LB in 20 years. Now, Maddox is sitting on 770 and 800 seems halfway like a real possibility.

Big couple of months between that attempt and Thor's upcoming DL. I think they'll both get it. Their training has looked absurdly good.

He was a D1 prospect out of high school.
How old is he now? mid-late 20s? At 440 and as strong as he is, he could be a killer at NG.

He's 32. His training this year has been ridiculous.
Only 4 other guys have officially hit a 700 LB raw bench. He did 700x3 a little while back.
He posted 640x9 a couple weeks ago. The rate he's been improving and the numbers he's been hitting are comical.
