Started at 229 and now down to 209. I’m trying to get down to 195/200. I’m 41 years old and 6’2. I’ve been eating more vegetables, an avacado a day, chicken, oatneal with a little peanut butter, and fruits. I work out 4-5 times a week.

For cardio I do HIIT. I do 18-20 intervals of sprinting at 8.4MPH. I run for 30 seconds and rest for 15 seconds. I also lift afterwards. I haven’t seen my strength decrease. I’ve been eating about 1500-1800 calories/day.

When I hit my goal of 195/200 I’ll add more protein to my diet. I also do IF.

I'm down about 20, but in 7 weeks. I've been doing pretty similar to what you are doing, but I've been slowed down a little by a 4-5 not so great days, mainly because of alcohol.

Yeah, I look at the weekly goals more than anything. On a normal day I eat between 1200-1500 usually. I've also been doing one 24 hour past per week. On the few days I've drank, I've been pretty careful with my eating. Even on my worst week I've came in 1,000 calories under my weekly goal. On a really good week it's 3-4,000 under.

Also been doing cardio 3-5 days. I recently starting adding in strength training as well, but I'm not hitting that very hard yet.

A recent tip I heard from Dr Ben Greenfield as it relates to time restricted eating is that for about 5 days you consume 40% of your normal calories about once every 3 months. Think it’ll really help drop that last little bit of stubborn fat for those in your particular situation.

congrats,
I been at it for about 5 weeks now and only down, about 8 lbs

1200 - 1500 cals a day
Working out every day, weight and cardio
no drinking, really thought I would have dropped more than I have
not just looking at the scale, still holding a good amount of fat.
