I finished my home circuit Thursday with a 400m farmers walk using 35lb DBs son of a bitch it was thunderdome to the max.

Will post our gym group banger tomorrow. Hopefully we get some sled and erg work, those are the 2 things I cant really replicate at home.

We did a 40 min AMRAP yesterday

Teams of 4
2 run 1000M
2 others AMRAP 20 lunges, 20 sit-ups, 20 pushups, 20 pull-ups

Switch when the 2 running finish their 1K run, picking up where the others left off.

All Pull-ups were strict

Hot AF

Something like 19 rounds total of the inside AMRAP.

Did an hour run today, right at 6.5 miles. Really trying to ramp my running up over the next few weeks. Typically it only takes me about a month or so to get back in decent running shape so we’ll see.

We did half distance stations with 600m runs in between on Sunday.

Could not have gone more smooth. Ready to get this show on the road.

I’m not worried about the stations at all, other than the sled is going to suck. The faster I can run, the better my time will be

The wife and I did Hyrox camp in Atlanta this past weekend with Dominique Sottile, she is part of Hyrox team USA .

Saturday was a gym day with compromised leg workouts
6 stations, 3 exercises each station for 9 minutes.

Sunday track workout 3 block workouts. 2 lap warm 5minutes
1)2 minutes fast pace, 1 minute medium pace 4xs
2)1 lap fast, 10 burpees, 1 lap medium 4xs
3)Partner work- Partner 1 run as fast as possible around track. Partner 2 does air squats until partner is done. Switch 4xs
Cool down lap

I’ve done it once in the past (for the record I haven’t paid for either, I got a hookup with them, it’s insanely overpriced),

How do you get a great hook up like that, I have tried multiple times to get into the Hyrox competitions around the US, and London. No luck. Every competition the wife and I can make are sold out for mixed doubles. If they are not sold out, then the weekend just does not workout for us.
What is your insight do tell.
Does your hookup know future dates of NYC, Miami, Washington D.C. 2026?

You nerds ready?

Ran through a similar workout yesterday with my partner

5 rounds of 1k runs with:

150kg sled push for about 80m
125kg pull 80m
60m lunge with a sandbag
60m burpee broad jump
100 wall balls

The distances and weights weren’t perfect but it fit the gyms space the best so that’s what we did. Sleds were easy, we both did a 20m section back and forth no problem and I’ve trained with up to about 230kg for surface adjustment.

All of our runs were between 5:00:5:20 and I think we were really running about 1050 meters each time so that should account for some of the transition. I really have no goal, but I feel pretty good on where we’re at.

Does anybody know when they send out heat times?

20 DL (185)
40 cal echo bike
20 bench press (155)
1k row
20 bench press
40 cal echo bike
20 DL
1k row

Nice man thats awesome. That pro sled stack looked like no bullshite.

We know what to work on now. I wish I would have warmed up much harder.

Between the nerves, the caffiene pill smacking my arse and starting cold, the ski erg shocked the shite out of me to start.

I chilled out and locked in about halfway through and we were good.

Wallball screen/sensor was out so I was totally at judges mercy. Gave her a couple of hearty "fricking bullshite"s but other than that it was smooth as butter.
