Got my first VA disability rating in today!!!

I’ve only filed for hearing and sinuses so far.
It came back at 20%!!!
According to the VA, I have good hearing and don’t have sinusitis. I do have tinnitus and rhinitis.
Now on to the bigger things, PTSD, sleep apnea, shoulder issues.

I got out in 2010 but just filed my first claims this month. Should have done it sooner.

FYI, just because you don’t get service connection for hearing loss doesn’t mean you don’t have hearing loss. It just means they don’t connect your current hearing levels to time spent in service (it’s based on your entrance and exit audiograms and health questionnaires in service).
If you have tinnitus and feel like you have difficulty hearing, please schedule a treatment exam with an audiologist. Even though there’s not a magic pill to cure tinnitus, can get tinnitus relief by treating your hearing loss.
