All I can say is check your blood sugar with net carbs. It’s a marketing gimmick and has no regulation or consensus, it doesn’t just subtract fiber, but sugar alcohols, glycerin, and use Isomalto-oligosaccharides as “fiber” that can raise your BG as much as dextrose.

I'm aware of what's subtracted and I'm aware of what ingredient's Glycemic Indexes are and what insulin response they may trigger.

Not all net carbs are created equal, I dont dispute that at all.

Agreed. All those sugar alcohols make it fishy.. especially quest bars. But people swear by them. But subtracting fiber is absolutely legit to get net carbs.

5 lb “whoosh” this am after a few days of stalling
