I had surgery for this back in 2019. My doctor said he was shocked at how damaged the tendon was when he got in there. The surgery was the best thing though. Took a long time to rehab and get back to normal (right at a year) but it was worth it.

Still doing the pullups twice a week (10x2). I assume grip doesn't matter right? I've been doing reverse grip. Still hurts, but not as much.

This is where I’m at as well. I’m rocking 17x4 MWF for about 2 weeks now and def seemed like it got better for a bit but them plateaued, got to probably 75% but won’t get any better beyond that.

I dealt with this bullshite for about 5 years. A trainer suggested working on my grip strength. More specifically from the middle finger to pinky.

Medium grip strengtheners

Get these and do it frequently with only those three fingers gripping. I did it on the way to and back from work for two weeks and the pain has completely disappeared.
